Kitchen island table
My boyfriend and I cook a lot. Our apartment has a large kitchen, but with many things lacking. The stove is literally an antique, and there was a huge wasted open space where there instead could have been more counter space. We took matters into our own hands by buying this set. The table has a faux-marble top, and the stools have faux-leather seats that are pretty comfortable, although we don't sit on them often. The dimensions are perfect for our kitchen, as we set it up to be an island. We put a wooden cutting board on top (had to use a non-slip pad because the tabletop is very smooth) and it is now our prep table. The table is a bar height, so if you're a person of not-unusual height, standing or sitting at it on the stools will be comfortable for you.

Great stools!
These stools look great, were well packaged and easy to put together. And a great price to boot! I chose these stools because the style and color match my dining room table perfectly. Also, since they are very shallow, I can push them under the counter and they stay out of the way. Our previous stools were more like chairs with backs, and they took up a lot of room and we were constantly shifting them to get by. (They were also too short for our bar-height counter, but that is another story...)As one reviewer previously mentioned, when you are unpacking the contents of the box, be sure to look for the red dots on the legs. The legs of the stool are packaged two together - both legs with red dots are in the same bag. The red dots ensure that the holes for the cross bars are facing the right way. Great stools
We ordered these stools and did not know what we were getting for such a low price but we were surprised that they are such great stools. These are as good as any stools in the stores.Very well made and our 4 year old loves to sit on them while he eats at our pass through. I would buy these again.

Well made, good looking and incredible value
I recently purchased this set for a friend. I already owned a set and when I bought it the cost was about three-times as much. Although slightly different than mine; the main difference is the stools don't swivel on this set, but it's a small loss given the amazing price difference.The chrome finish, study stools and slick black oil table top on this set is superb and definitely bar quality.Stong durable and easy to assemble, you really can't go wrong for a high bar table and two stools for the incredible price.

great for my 50's-style rec room
This pub table and chair set fits neatly into any corner, or wherever else you want to put it. Personally, I have mine in the corner, as it provides extra seating and table usage while not taking up too much space. My whole rec room is devoted to a 1950's nostalgia theme, and this set is the perfect accent that depicts a 50's diner look. The best part of this product (besides sharpness) is the price. They Add Warmth Without The Bulk

Great Item and reliable seller
Ordered this item and received it very quickly, within 5 business days. Shipping was free which is quite outstanding for such a large and heavy item. Seller shipped the original box within another heavily padded box, thus ensuring no exterior damage to table.The table itself is gorgeous. Highly polished, very substantial wood. This seller had the cheapest price by far that I could find on the internet for this table. Although the quality of the manufacturer is known as on the higher end, in light of the price, I thought this would be a cheaply made item and crossed my fingers that it would at least look presentable and serve it's purpose.On the contrary, the construction is first rate. The wood is first rate. The table looks much more expensive than what I paid. In fact, we purchased this table to replace a very large table we purchased at Macy's for over $1000.00 and the wood really looks very similar and construction is very similar as well...

Pretty good chairs
These chairs are an outstanding (or outsitting?) value. They don't look cheap and are very comfortable. If I press back on the chair while sitting, there is a very slight creak there, but really not noticeable. They are fairly easy to put together.On other reviews some have commented about the legs not being the same length, leading to a "wobble". 1 out of 4 chairs had a wobble after first assembling, but I noticed there was some wiggle room in the bolt holes; i.e. the hole was wider than the bolt, allowing for some slide. By sliding the bolt all the way to one side and retightening, I was able to eliminate the wobble.There was also one bolt in one chair that just wouldn't go in the hole due to a defect, but with all the other bolts providing sufficient support, this was not needed and I left it out.You can't beat the value of these chairs.

Well engineered. Easy to assemble. All parts included plus two extra screws. Highly recommended. You can't buy the lumber for this price. All parts solid wood, no fibre board or cheap panels. The quality of the wood is high grade, great grain, and durable finish.

Great table for price
My daughter has a small kitchen and limited counter space. This set fits perfectly in her kitchen and the kids love pulling out the bar stools and sitting at the table to eat their breakfast or do their homework. Mom can use it for extra counter top or because it is on wheels easily move it to the dining room where it could be used as a buffet when she has extra guests. This is the second table of this kind I have purchased as I have one for myself and sent one to NY for my daughter.Assembly takes about an hour, and both of us GIRLS put it together with no problems. Has light blond colored wood and 2 little drawers and a towel bar. With light sanding it could be painted if color was not to your liking. Open it is a 30 x 30 table ( I am a sewer so I use it alot for cutting out fabric) and closed it fits nicely up to the wall as a 15 x 30 buffet. Company was quick to deliver and answered emails promptly when an inquiry was made.Very pleased and would by from this...
