Really Nice Sturdy Bag
Decided on buying this bag, because my other gym bag was just TOO big. Good for all your gym rat needs
I received the bag a couple of days ago and am mostly pleased with it--it's nice and sturdy, seems to be well made and doesn't look cheap (though at its price, it's a bargain!) It's larger than I imagined which can be a good thing for extra storage. A slight complaint I have is with the color of the bag: I ordered it in red, which looks different from the picture. All in all, a handy bag to have, just prepare to be surprised by color!

Perfect for commuting
I was pleased with the Barrel Bag before I even got it out of the box Amazon shipped it to me in! High quality materials and construction are matched with functionality. The bag is large enough to keep my tool kit (chain tool, multi-tool, and a couple of wrenches), a patch kit, a spare tube, my 4-ft Kryptonite cable, arm warmers, spare batteries for my lights, and a spare jacket. Try stuffing all that into a typical saddle bag! Even better, it looks great on the bike and can be placed either under the saddle or on the handlebars. Removal is easier than other bags I've used. My favorite feature is the flexible, yet stiff internal shell that holds the bag's shape even when empty. This is hands down THE best bag for the price for commuters. Top to learn more

Great Bag With One Major Flaw
I really do like this bag and I plan to keep it. However, be warned that a major modification will be necessary. There is only one strap that is designed to hold the flap closed and that fastens with a buckle. The way the bag is positioned after attaching to the back of a seat, all but the largest of items will easily fall out on a ride. See posted photos. There should have been a zipper or at least Velcro, which is what I plan to try first. Just know before you buy that it is not ready fro prime time right out of the box. Size is great and I really like the mounting scheme. There is a flexible semi-hard plastic lining that retains shape. With a secure means of fastening the flap this will be a great bag.
