Nice Bags - A Little Expensive
These are nice bags, no doubt about it. Well made and nice and plain. Actually a tad small for shopping. I'm giving it four stars because local stores are now selling very similar eco bags (granted, with their logos on them) for as little as one dollar per bag (Sears) which is a whole lot less than these.If you don't want a brand logo on your bags, these will do the job. If you can deal with a logo, look around your local stores, you're likely to find cheaper solutions. Top to learn more

Nice beach bag
This is a larger bag, but perfect for taking to the beach, as it fits towels and a change of clothes very nicely. I'm the kind of person who likes pockets, so the two front pockets with velcro are nice, however I wish the inside had a zippered pocket to ensure important things like my wallet or camera can't just fall out if knocked over.

No inside pockets :(
I really like my tote! When I go to church, it seems I always have items to be delivered to others. I use this as a purse, and there is still plenty of room for those "items". So I only have to carry one bag. There's even room for my Bible. My only complaint is I WISH, oh how I wish, that there were pockets on the inside.

Had to Get Another
I'm a 6'5" 240 lb combat vet that carries my stuff in what the military might refer to as a 'rucksack'. I looked everywhere for something that didn't look or feel like a 'purse', and came across this bag in an Army-Navy store about 6 years ago. I wore it out, using it every day.I tried several other bags, but they just didn't work. Then I found the exact duplicate; the same bag. It's strong canvas, has a tremendous number of pockets, is exteremly well built, wears like iron, and cleans easily. End pockets, interior pockets, a pocket in the cover flap, envelope slots, and compartments with a large main bag. I take it everywhere, all the time. Best 'Male' bag out there, bar none. Very good, but could be improved
I've just bought myself a new bag because the two that I've been using in heavy rotation for some years--the Eagle Creek Sidekick and another Eagle Creek bag whose make I haven't been able to identify--don't quite fit the bill. The Sidekick is too small for my purposes; the other bag is too large under many circumstances. My new bag, the Urban Explorer Canvas Shoulder Bag, which measures 12"x10"x4", is in between these two, size-wise.It's a very nice bag, and I think it will suit my purposes well, but it's not perfect. I can't add pictures here, but I've added three to my account on Flickr and annotated them with on-screen notes. In particular, I point out where all the pockets are. Love all the pockets
The bag is durable and comfortable to carry. I love all the pockets. My only complaint would be the width. The main compartment is just wide enough to carry documents, but because the bag does not have reinforcement, the documents bend. I put two pieces of cardboard inside to give some support to the main compartment--problem solved. Top to learn more

Almost Perfect
On a quest for the perfect bag for my 2011 Macbook Pro 15" See my other reviewsThis a minimalistic case, not for pack rats!- If you carry your power adapter with you, it's going to be a tight fit.+ iPad 2 : Has compartment for a naked Ipad 2. If you use a case/sleeve, you can fit it in front of the dedicated pocket.+ Good padding around, except for the very bottom. I would cut a small piece of foam, or neoprene from one of your old cases and put at the very bottom. If I dropped the bag and it landed in the same orientation as you would set it down, I'd be slightly worried. That being said, it is one one of the better cases I've looked at recently.+ Fits the MBPro 15" very nicely.- Won't fit the Macbook IF it is in a Lacie zipper-less sleeve. you can shove it in there, but will be turning the bag inside out to remove it. I like to use a sleeve plus the bag personally.-/+ you will get a magazine, or two in here, but not much... Top to learn more

Descending into Chinatown, the large open circle cut into the foreground concrete wall always stopped me. With just the right angle of view through the circular window, the zigzag of the fire escape stairs of the next building became visible. The shadowed foreground wall draws your eye through to the details.
Which was not the only disconcerting thing about it. See, I find that canvas bag are tricky, because canvas can look cheap and get worn out easily. Since I thought that this Celine bag must have been cheaper that the all-leather version, I entertained for a second the idea of getting over both these obsessions of mine and purchasing it. Wasn't I naive. "Cheaper" options in canvas that I covet are this Proenza Schouler PS1 canvas and leather tote (the SS12 version of a big favorite of mine for FW11 as you may remember from this post.
