Beautiful, surprisingly small bag
This is a beautiful bag, as is true with most Kenneth Cole products. It wears very comfortably over my shoulder and stays out of the way as I walk. The look is absolutely awesome. But I was shocked at the small size of the bag. There are some small inside pockets, but the pockets aren't always enough. Considering all of the electronics and accessories that we carry today, this bag may not offer all of the space you require. If you're traveling light, though, this is the bag for you.

The picture doesn't do it justice
I was looking for a 'grown-up' messenger bag for interviews as well as my job and this bag doesn't disappoint. It seems extremely well made, has great stitching and a great style. It fits my 15" MacBook Pro perfectly in the separated, velcro'd pouch and has a lot of room in the other section for accessories and papers. I will have to see how it holds up to scarring and such, but initial impressions are very good.

A bag that fits!
So, I tested out several of the Kenneth Cole Reaction messenger bags for carrying my laptop (a 15.6" 16x9 Lenovo W520) to work and none of them seemed to fit my laptop... They were all just barely not long enough (or way too snug to carry anything else, like my charger, with the laptop). Finally, I found this bag. Even without expanding the bag, my laptop fits perfectly in the laptop pocket (thus leaving it more protected) along with my work binder (1") and charger, along with a few accessories (pens, wireless mouse, etc). I love this bag. It looks great. The buckle actually looks pretty good and although at first I was more interested in the bags that have the magnetic closures, this one actually ends up working better, looking better, and it's just as easy to open. The leather is well-made and the bag feels classy and professional.

Very nice bag for this price range
I needed a carrying bag for work and travel that would allow me to carry both my netbook, accessories, and work papers, notebooks, etc. I did not want a tacky vinyl or polyester bag that looked like a laptop case. The problem is that the really nice, leather messenger bags are in the $150-$250 range and I just didn't want to spend that much. This Kenneth Cole case turned out to be the best compromise. It has a classy, simple style accented by the brushed silver buckle. It is perfect for carrying a 10" netbook, which I have within it's own sleeve in the separate compartment in this messenger bag. There is still plenty of room (probably another 4-5 inches in width) for papers, notebooks, a portfolio, or whatever. That being said, this bag is probably not suitable for a student who needs to carry three thick hardcover textbooks and notebooks -- a backpack or bigger bag would be needed. Kenneth Cole Reaction Bag/Briefcase
I bought this bag for my boyfriend who often carries work home and walks to and from work. The bag shipped extremely quickly, of course. I am very pleased at the excellent quality and was pleasantly surprised that there was also a protective bag included (like Coach gives for purses). The bag looks sleek and is also functional and my boyfriend says he loves it and has already gotten a lot of compliments on it. He said he doesn't have any complaints!

Stop over reacting on buckles
I was in the market for a briefcase of some sort because I am a new graduate and I was looking for something to carry with me to job interviews and so forth. I never owned a briefcase but that traditional rectangular hard cased "classic" brief case style was not for me.I was firstly attracted by the style and sleekness of this briefcase but I saw several reviewers complaining about the buckles and how they are difficult to open, one person even returned his. This had me shocked because I wondered how hard could a leather buckle be to open.Nonetheless I purchased the product and with the speedy shipping it arrived in 2 days. The packaging is amazing and elegant. Now I am at the point to tackle the buckle issue to open the case...... I tug, twist, turn the buckles but i could not get it push through the loop. Stylish & functional at a great price!
First let me just say "WOW!" If I was not already a die-hard Amazon shopper, this purchase would have made me one. Amazon has this bag listed at about one third the suggested retail price and well below what other online retailers are asking. That said and value aside, this is a GREAT bag!This soft-cover briefcase/satchel is made of very nice, genuine leather and is fully lined. Inside there are two main compartments, two zipper pockets, and holders for a cell phone, two pens, and four card slots, plus there is an open slot on the outside back of the case (perfect for magazines or a newspaper). I feel like it has room for everything to stay organized, without wasting material and space creating "too many" compartments and pockets. The look is sleek and professional, and it arrives very well packaged in a nice drawstring bag and inside a box, so it would make an excellent gift.The clasps on the front of the bag close securely, but can be a little tricky to open...

Beautiful bag

Can you say Rugged? (w/ a capital R)
I bought this strap for my duffel bag for a trip to europe and I can confidently say that the strap will outlast my eastpak duffel bag. Sure metal clips, comfortable pad, and extremely rugged design & materials make for the perfect shoulder strap.I would use this thing as a seatbelt. Period. It will not break.

Just what I needed
This is a replacement strap for my messenger bag. Or as my wife calls it my man purse or murse. It is just what I needed: there is a rough grip material that is on the under side of the padded section so there is no more sliding off my shoulder. The same section is curved so that it 'fits' over the shoulder. The length is adjustable enough to allow for a sling over or over the head use.

Purchased one, then ordered five more
I originally purchased one of these as a replacement strap for my camera bag full of expensive gear. I needed something strong, reliable, and comfortable. This is the end-all for shoulder straps. Pad is comfortable and will not slip. The clips are METAL and secure...carry your load with confidence. Overall build quality is well above average. Within two days of receiving the original order, I purchased 5 more to replace all my shoulder straps for tool bags, luggage, and camera equipment...its that good!
