Great Lunch Bag!!
This bag is perfect.... and it looks great! Can hold as much as 2 full meals and some snacks, and stays cold all day long. I've read where some people here say it doesn't keep food cold. Wrong. It DOES keep food cold! You simply have to stick the bag in the fridge (or freezer) for a while to activate the insulation. I love this bag so much, I plan to buy another one in a different design to switch off.

Perfect for city life
You just can't live in NYC and bring lunch to work in a plastic bag! I searched the web for a practical yet fashionable lunch bag, stumbled over this, and am so glad I did.It carries like a small laptop bag, doesn't look wide - but has plenty of room inside, and the little ice pack kept my food chilly all day through! My only small complaint is that the second zippered compartment is very narrow; I've started using it just to pack tea bags and water flavoring and it works perfectly for that.For an example on the roominess inside - for lunch everyday, I usually pack a sandwich, plastic bag of crackers, a couple triangles of Laughing Cow cheese, an apple, banana, and my water bottle - without anything getting smooshed. Adoreable way to bring Lunch!
This bag is so cute! I was very impressed by the size and quality of these bags. Due to some of the other reviews I was worried I would not be able to fit my tupperware medium deep square rock n serve containers in it plus the rest of my lunch. You do have to tip them slightly to get them in but they fit just fine. I did have to lay my water bottle on it's side (due to the height) but there was still plenty of room left over. I fit lunch, my water and a lot of snacks no problem. The bag is well worth the price as they are really well-made. Sturdy handles and good zippers-it does not feel cheap. I do put a thin ice pack in the bottom to keep things extra cold. I'm not sure the outside will be as easy to clean as it stated since it is nice fabric but you never know. I haven't gotten mine dirty yet. The inside is that "tin foil looking" insulation that wipes off well. Over all I find it is a great bag. I have never paid almost $20 for a lunch bag and my co workers thought I was nuts...

Perfect reusable zip-bags
Bought these for my 3rd grade son and he uses them in his lunch for snacks. They work just like the plastic zip-bags but they are even better since you can reuse them! The material washes beautifully. I've even given these as gifts!

Makes a big difference
We used to just dump our compostable kitchen stuff straight into the composting crock, and it was always a horrendous mess when we would carry it out to the main compost bin to empty. Now that I've started using these bags, it's a much less unpleasant task (and we empty the crock more often now, too, because we aren't both trying to put the task off hoping the other will break down and do it instead! :D )A couple of caveats: the bags ARE, as advertised, biodegradable, so if you leave them in the crock full of wet kitchen scraps for too long, they will start to seep liquid out into the crock. It's more like osmosis - they don't really seem to develop holes at this point, but they kind of ooze liquid through a little bit. I'd say five days is the maximum time you should leave them in there. If you forget and they do start to seep, however, the task of taking the bag out to the compost bin and then washing the crock is still much less objectionable, since the inside of...

Keeps things neater
I've been composting for several years, and bought one of those crocks that sits on the counter. I just put things in the crock and carried them out to the compost for years. But every time, you then have to wash out the messy, stinky crock. With these bags, the mess (and stink) is greatly reduced. I just put a folded paper towel in the bottom (to catch juices) and then the bag. When it is full it comes out of the crock much better than loose scraps. I started using them last year, and when I turned the compost this summer there was no trace of the older bags so they DO biodegrade as stated. The only thing I wish is that they were a little smaller; they are so big they stick out of the crock quite a bit and it seems wasteful.

Keeps Bucket Clean
Love how easy these make it to empty the under-sink compost bucket into the composter. Cuts down on the cleaning of the bucket, too (though it still usually needs a good rinse). Found that the bags tend to slip down into the bucket so we simply pull a little bit over the outer edge, twist it into a knot and hold it there with a small binder clip.
