Portfolio Case for the Win!! Toshiba Thrive Snug as Bug.
I received both my Toshiba Thrive Tablet and this case on July 12th (yesterday). Its the perfect case for the Thrive, just as my Kindle Case performs flawlessly.The case is faux Stiff Leather without that chemical smell. It does tend to get sticky, easily washable. The inside consists of velcro fasteners and felt-like backing for the Velcro. The tab easily slips in and out. I haven't even begun to arrange all the positions the case can move into, but it does live up to the hype. AND - its cheaper here, who doesn't want a deal after spending all those bucks on the Toshiba Thrive itself?I keep the Tab mainly in the case (only take out for some gaming). I got into this habit from keeping the Kindle in its case. You can charge and use ear plugs with the case on. You can slide the port covering piece off, and your mini-usb is ready to plug in and do some file transferring (Vista and Win 7 only, XP needs an upgrade, Macs and Linux need tweaking)...

Excellent.
This portfolio makes it easy to stand up and use the tablet. My husband loves it and has not taken his tablet out of it since it arrived. The portfolio is sturdy and well made. We are pleased.

Very good
I dont know why people are complaining about the weight. The case by itself is not that heavy. The table slides in and out very easy. I like that I can have it in the case and just fold it so that it is a stand so I can watch movies, tv shows on it.I have heard people talk about the slimier roocase but there website doesnt even mention it and the contact us link doesnt do anything. This case is made very well and looks nice. You do not have to keep the tablet in it all the time. I sometimes take it out and when I am done but it back. For $30+ bucks I like the protection.

Friendly, reliable, powerful, cheap
The WR7 is the best remote I've owned. I love it. So does my wife. It does everything I want (and I'm picky), is guest-friendly and geek-friendly, and it costs twenty bucks. You should buy it.Other reviews have summarized well what's great about this remote, so I'm just going to add some geek details.What I love: - Separate on and off buttons. Simple, but a huge ease-of-use win. Many devices now have discrete on/off codes, and this remote finally lets you use them. A big help to reliability when you've programmed a "system on" macro. - No LCD screen. Nice idea, but more often than not a crutch that replaces good design. Demands that you look down at the remote, takes space away from keys, and is typically butt-ugly. - Programmable macros, even on the device keys. So you can program the "DVD" button to switch the inputs on the receiver, the "TV" button to switch the Tivo to live TV mode, etc. Similar to the much-hyped "activity based"...

Does everything it's supposed to do, and does it well
I wanted a universal remote for our home theater setup (Panasonic TV, Onkyo receiver, Tivo, and Sony Blu-ray) that didn't cost that much and didn't suck; from the reviews I'd read, most universal remotes seemed to do one or the other -- cost more than I wanted to spend (Harmony) or suck in at least one important way. This remote seemed to be well-reviewed, and it was a nice price.It delivers: It took me 15 minutes to program it for all four devices, soup to nuts. Its quick-program function found the TV; its "scroll through codes" function found all three other devices. Then I set up punch-through audio, so that the receiver was the only audio output regardless of mode; macro power-on and -off, so that one button turns on the TV and receiver, and another turns everything off; and used the learning feature to teach it the dozen or so specialized buttons I needed from other remotes (Tivo skip back/ahead, Blu-ray open/close and chapter forward/back, etc.).In terms...

Learning function is teriffic
I bought this to replace my universal remote that the dogs chewed up. This remote has several features, and lots of buttons. I like the red light up buttons as it makes it so much easier to find the button I am looking for in the dark.My favourite thing about this remote is the many ways in which to find that pesky code. I find that often typing in the code for your brand of TV, VCR, whatever doesn't work and you can spend hours trying to figure out the proper code. There are at least four different ways (including a list of codes) to program this remote so something will work for your device. My favourite thing is the "learning" mode. You simply put it into "learning" mode and then copy the functions from your old remote to the new one and you can choose which buttons go where. Nice Dash Mount for Garmin Nuvi 755T
I've used this bean-bag dash mount for a couple hundred miles in my '95 Saturn SL2. Even with the harder, more "slippery" plastic dash, this mount doesn't slide around. The bottom of the mount is coated in a tacky rubber material. The round suction cup mounting disk fits the default RAM suction cup and Garmin suction cup with room to spare. It will also fit my larger, older RAM suction cup. Suction power is good: I regularly lift this 3.2 pound mount by holding onto the GPS cradle.The three "wings" of the mount are flexible and move independently of the main body of the mount. The wings help it to contour better to my dash. The wings do stick up a little bit above the plane of the suction cup mounting disk. That interfered a little bit with the bottom edge of my GPS until I rotated the GPS so that the bottom edge was then along one of the gaps.No regrets on this purchase. I'll probably use this mount more than attaching the GPS to the windshield...

There is a better choice for Nuvi GPS units
Both my wife and I own a GPS. Hers is a Garmin Nuvi 250W and mine is the Magellan 1470. Both units are mounted on a portable friction mounts, hers on the and mine on the NAVGEAR universal dash mount.What I liked most about the NAVGEAR mount is that the 1470's mounting suction cup makes and maintains excellent contact with the mounting base so there is little risk of accidental release from the base. When I want to release my GPS, the 1470 and the mounting base can be easily separated and then just as easily re-attached. They remain securely joined until I release them.What I don't like about the NAVGEAR mount is the lack of grip when using it on the dash. The lack of grip has resulted in...

sort of does the job
I ordered the navgear dash mount because I had broken the screen on my previous tom tom because it always fell off the window. The navgear has prevented my tom tom from falling forward and hitting something however it does not stay in place 100% on the dashboard. When you have to get around a corner quickly it does slide and fall to the floor. I will say though, the tom tom remained upright thru the fall because of the weight of the navgear. Another plus of the navgear is that you can just take the whole thing and hide it easily in the car w/ no marks left on your window advertising that you have a gps in your car. So, for the money it is working out for me but it's not completely up to how it was advertised. Also, it works well with the tom tom 130 - no issues with the power cord.
