Awesome bag!
This is truly a beautiful bag! I got the classic dark leather, which is exactly the rich brown shown in the pictures. The leather has a wonderful grain that adds to the bag's character. The leather is thicker than I expected; while it is by no means stiff, it is not ultra-soft, ultra-thin butter leather. This is leather that will age well and last for many, many years. The zippers are matte silver metal so not only do they look great against the brown leather, they'll be durable. (The other hardware is the same type of matte/antiqued silver.) The bag is lined with a heavy khaki twill that is just a shade or two lighter than the strap. The cotton strap not only adds to the bag's uniqueness, it also keeps the bag from sliding when you bend over. (I wear it across my chest like a messenger bag.) Inside there are two small pockets on the divider separating the two sections of the bag. One is gusseted and works well for a cell phone (or items of a similar size) and the other is...

Beautiful bag
Just a beautiful bag. I bought it for use with my 15" Powerbook. The powerbook just barely fits, but it does fit, so don't use it with anything larger. The flap fastens with magnets which seems mostly to just keep it from flapping around, it does not keep the flap closed very securely. But the material is top notch and it looks fantastic. Highly recommended.--- Update: 2 or 3 months after getting this bag, the leather which binds the shoulder strap to the main bag split, making the shoulder strap unusable. However, the seller has been extremely helpful in taking care of the situation, and the manufacturer is looking at the stitching in their design to see if it needs to be strengthened. I look forward to getting my great bag back.

'Storia' Leather Messenger
I purchased this bag in classic dark leather a month ago. The rich brown color shown in the pictures is not fake - the bag looks gorgeous. It needs no breaking in but will become softer after use. The bag is thick enough to feel substantial but not stiff as to feel uncomfortable. I've found it to be the perfect size - large enough to carry the items I need for school without being bulky.Given the high cost, I would have liked the bag to come with a longer warranty (It is only 1 year). If you are looking to purchase this bag, you can do so at a slightly cheaper cost directly through the US distributor at Marcopoloni.com.

Best bag I have ever owned
As the title says, this is probably one of the best bags I have ever owned. It is sleek and stylish, but SO versatile at the same time. The bag is beautiful itself, I have received a lot of compliments on it, even from strangers in the elevator! The bag is a little stiff but still flexible enough not to be annoying. There is plenty of room inside for my laptop, cords, portable mouse, a few CDs and a couple of folders. My favorite part though is the adjustable shoulder strap. I live in the North and in the winter those nice shorter handles just dont cut it when trying to put it on your shoulder over a huge winter coat. I like the flexibility the shoulder strap offers for winter especially, because then the bag actually FITS on my shoulder and I can carry that and anything else I may have while I walk to my office building. Short straps slide off too easily and have caused me to spill my coffee more than once. And yes, I know its a little thing, but thats real life use and its pretty...

Beautiful Bag, Not as Functional
I bought the McKlein W Series Lake Forest bag in red and a laptop as a gift for my wife recently. My wife is fashionable and likes vibrant colors and high quality products. The bag does meet those requirements, but barely funcitons as a computer bag. With the protective insert, I was not able to fit a 15" wide screen laptop in the bag. Without the protective padding insert, the laptop barely fits. Once you get the laptop in, there isn't much room for anything else. A mouse, power cords, some pens, and a folder seem to stuffed in order to fit. My wife was primarily using it for school, so she also needed another bag for books and additional papers. The bag is also fairly heavy, but not so much that it's a turnoff. Just keep this in mind if you are travelling. This bag might be perfect for you if you have a small computer or iPad and don't plan to carry too many items. It most likely will not work to double as a computer bag and purse.

Nice Little Travel Bag
It's a nice leather travel bag. It feels like it's built well, durable and strong. The leather is soft. And so far all the major components of the bag are working great; zippers, handle, etc. The one thing I'm not too crazy about is the design of the leather, it's all black leather (which I like), but it's a bunch of pieces of leather sown together to create the design of the bag. And it's not a deal breaker, but I would of preferred a smooth, no design bag.But for the price, you cant go wrong. I would recommend this bag
