Nice Bag
I love this bag, it is perfect size for travel. I plan to use it for my vacation carry-on bag, it will hold everything a purse can plus much more with everything easily accessible. There's space to keep identification handy and my cell phone plus much room for many other items. Well made and beautiful, the colors are true to the photo.

Fun, easy projects
I love this book; it's great fun.I'm not an expert at sewing, but I'm proficient enough to enjoy myself and I do have fun making quilts. This book looked like it would spark ideas when I wasn't in the mood for a big project. I was right.I don't understand why another poster felt the instructions are "misleading" since the satin/velvet tote gives the size on the first page: 22" x 15.25". After all, it is a tote and not a purse, so it's meant to have room inside. But as you can see from this photo of mom modeling it, it's not that large for a tote! This carries everything!
I can fit up to 3 days worth of clothes, but I like options :) I usually use it as an overnight bag and stuff my chargers, bath stuff, clothes, swim gear, etc. I get complements on it all the time. I also like that it can be collapsed to be put in a closet. I also like the metal feet at the bottom.

Yay - Something the Tween Boy Won't Use

I recently purchased this bag as a birthday gift. I assumed the bag would be plain and contained only one large pocket. Much to both of our surprise, the bag is very roomy, sturday and contains a couple of smaller inner pockets for cell phone, make-up, etc.The bag has neatly sewn topstitching which lends a quality appearance and seems to be quite sturdy.Also, the inside of the bag is decorative in addition to the outside. We were both very pleased with the bag and feel it is well worth the money we paid, especially after comparing to some comparable Vera Bradley bags.Would definitely recommend.

Awesome for College!
Graduate student in college that needed a LARGE bookbag that fit all of her books (approximately 5-6 with a laptop). The bag I previously had had no pockets and the straps killed my shoulder for some reason. This bag is wonderful. Its large enough for all of my books and laptop (but not that obnoxious as some of the larger bags you see today). The print with the bow is adorable. Its a great fabric-easily washable. The straps feel great even with 50 lbs. of books in it (literally 50 lb.s) it had tons of well hidden pockets that fit all my pens/glasses/etc. and it was cheap. Im ordering another one for travel :)

Large tote bag, very pretty
Got this for my Mom for Christmas. She LOVES it. She uses it as a tote bag to bring her stuff to and from work. She has gotten lots of compliments from her coworkers. It has little metal stands on the bottom so its nice to set down on the floor and not worry too much about the bottom being all nasty. My Mom is 5 feet and petite so this size is a little too large for her frame. I wish I had looked closely at the size. She loves it though - so who am I to say anything?

I just love this book, the instructions are easy to read and understand. Denise makes quilting a lot of fun with the embellishments and added accents for each purse. I especially like the messenger bag. Mine holds so much! there are full size patterns in the back of the book for some of the purses, much better than having to enlarge them myself! I recommend this book for any level sewing skill or quilting skill!
