GORGEOUS RASPBERRY MAM!!
I've been a fan of Rebecca Minkoff for years now and I was highly anticipating this raspberry MAM new for Fall 2011. Amazon was wonderful and got this shipped to me in 3 days!! the bag is BEAUTIFUL!!! the pictures online don't do it justice at all! the color is slightly darker in real life and as with all RM bags, the leather is gorgeous and the bag is made so well! of course comes with the "vincent call me" and authencity cards in the inner pocket and leopard dust bag (matches with the leopard lining inside, also new for the fall 2011 bags).This packing was great, as one would expect from amazon. However there was a very visible circular black mark on the back of the bag - this was not a problem bc I called amazon and got the BEST customer service!!! there's already a replacement bag on it's way and my customer service representative was polite and helpful, even apologizing for something that's not amazon's fault at all! in addition, the return process for my original bag...

Beautiful Bag!!
I had long admired the Rebecca Minkoff bags in particular, the Morning After Mini so decided to take the plunge and buy one. Red being my favourite colour, I soon chose the Blood Red MAM. I placed the order on the 12th, was informed my order had been shipped on the 14th and received it on the 17th - Super Fast Delivery considering this was also over a weekend! The tracking was also great, being able to find out where my bag was and when was really comforting. Shipped US to UK.My parcel arrived in good condition by Courier. The bag was well packaged and after removing all of the packaging, I was in awe of the rich, deep red of the bag. To say this bag is beautiful is an understatement!! =) The bag is stunning with rich red leather and shiny gold hardware - though not cheap/ tacky looking. The bag appears to be well made and very well designed with an external zip pocket at the front (nicely secured under the front tab), an interior zip pocket, smaller pocket with hardwareon...

Better than expected
I got this at a price wayy lower than retail. I thought it was because the bag was 'leftover stock', but it was not so. The gold hardware is so pretty, the bag can carry so many essential things and the zip pouch is handy. It's easy to grab and definitely ups your style factor.

Totally coveting this Covet!
The Covet is such a great bag! It is roomy enough to fit an iPad, as well as your essentials. It is versatile as it can be hand-held or carried on the shoulder. It is professional enough for the office without the loud monograms, too. Love the super soft leather and the gorgeous turnlock closure.One thing that would have made this bag even better, is if Rebecca had made this bag a little bigger. Because it's just too small to hold binders, folders or papers. Other than that, it's a great bag and I highly recommend it!

Runway Setting Defeats Handbags
My original sense that a runway format for this show is all wrong is only growing stronger. For this episode, the contestants must make a handbag for an ebay customer. At the last minute, they must add an accessory to her ensemble. I love handbags every bit as much as the women customers brought in as the basis of this episode. I was actually pretty interested in seeing the designers try to satisfy their needs in the work room. However, once again, watching this come down the runway, was a big let down. Watching someone walk down the runway with a handbag they are supposed to wear in their everyday lives, paired with a bracelet or necklace, is super underwhelming. And the big flops are thus too underwhelming for us to enjoy the judges demolishing them from their perches.
