SOLO Laptop Messenger Bag
I've looked for messenger bags for my two college-age sons from a lot of manufacturers, and this one is by far the best for the price. One of my sons got this bag for Christmas last year and the other has been asking for one just like it. Luckily I could find it on Amazon. Now my son-in-law wants one, too! The sales blurb says it's made from Columbian leather. I'm not sure what percentage is truly leather for this price, but it feels like a quality leather bag. It also has an easy-to-close flap and lots of room.

Great Bag!
I really, really like this messenger bag. My 16-inch laptop fits very snug, and it has a reasonable amount of protective padding without adding bulk. It probably isn't something you want if you're looking to pack a lunch, but if you simply want a nice bag with plenty of room for your laptop, charger and an external drive, look no further.

Does Not Accomodate HP 17" dv7t series Laptops
I ordered this attractive laptop messenger bag intending to use it to port around my new HP dv7t 17" wide-screen laptop. Unfortunately I read the wrong dimensions - the entire bag dimensions instead of the inner compartment dimensions which are listed separately. The inner compartment dimensions of this bag are: 15.5"(w) x 10"(d) x 1.75"(h). This falls considerably short of the dimensions of the dv7t laptop: 16.35"(w) x 10.8"(d) x 1.25"(h). So despite claiming that the bag fits most 17" laptops I had to return this bag.In the short time I had this bag though I was impressed by the materials used to construct it. It feels very well made and despite my not being able to keep the bag I was confident that this messenger bag was up to the task of everyday use. The handle, strap and zippers felt sturdy and well attached. The inner cushioning is substantial and I felt that my laptop would survive bumps and drops inside this bag.Looks wise what attracted me most to...

The Don Mega
This Bag Rocks. Unless your going on a serious MAX Pedition You have no reason to pay 3 times the price. I don't see a single thing to have an issue with the quality of this bag. This thing is extreamly durable. You could drag it behind your car for a week and still use it. Some reviewers had issues with loose threads and worries of fray. I belive all issues have been resolved. The only thing that would make it better is for it to come with the CCW Holster or at least come out with one that is UTG priced. For now bend over and pay the $12 for a piece of nylon and velcro. Like the others have said you could easly make it your self but it's not really worth your time. $3 more and you would. $3 less and it's a great deal. They got it on lock. All in all I could not be happier with the purchace. Thanks UTG.

No Smell, Excellent bag
Bag is exactly as as advertised, no surprises.No obnoxious smell. Smells like all new nylon packs with waterproofing (my old packs smell much worse. I live in tropics and bags always go "sour" a Simple Green soak fixes them for a while).No sewing/thread problems.I removed most of silly over use of Velcro.I removed padded shoulder strap, don't see need.Zipper pulls make no obnoxious noise (unless you are maybe a running ninja...only place I run is in airports).Bonus: Found hidden pocket. just below mini carbiner on shoulder strap, behind all that silly attachment webbing is slot where cell phone slides very nicely. Can use some of silly removed velcro to make a little closure to hold it securely.Surprise bonus: instead of wearing cross shoulder, if you wear same shoulder, bag barely touches your body (again, high humidity living....all day packs and fanny packs make you sweat big time), "no touch" bag...

The Brown Bag Company really puts the meaning back into "Made in America." America needs more companies like this one. Brown bag messenger
I recently bought this bag as a gift for my wife. She Absolutely loves it! the bag is the perfect size for her laptop and also works very well as a book bag. However if you are looking for a bag to accommodate both a laptop and books together, I'd suggest the larger Brown bag. For my wife's needs ( back and forth to the office and the occasional conference ) it's the perfect size. She also says that she has received numerous compliments. The color is a light to medium brown, which was well represented by the photo. The leather is very soft and supple and looks to be very well made.
